Afghanistan: Drone strike kills 21 Islamic State terrorists
Kabul, Oct 1 (IBNS): A drone strike in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province killed at least 21 Islamic State terrorists, media reports said on Monday.
Maj. Mohammad Haroon Yousafzai, spokesman for the 201st Selab Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News coalition forces struck Daesh hideouts in Wazir Tangi area on Sunday.
He told the Afghanistan-based news agency that 21 rebels were killed and several weapons, ammunition and hideouts were destroyed during the airstrike.
The terrorist group has not commented on the issue so far.
