He told the Afghanistan-based news agency that four Daesh militants, including a commander named Musafar, were killed when one of the landmines they were planting went off prematurely.

Meanwhile, at least eight people, including Ali Shams Dost, the district governor of Khwaja Omari district of eastern Ghazni in Afghanistan, were killed in a Taliban attack, local media reports said on Thursday.

The incident took place early Thursday at around 2 am.

According to Tolo News, the militants attack the Governor's residence, killing the latter along with seven other security personnel.
