Afghanistan: Helicopter crashes in western Farah province, five killed

Kabul, Sept 15 (IBNS):   An Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed in western Farah province of the country on Saturday, killing at least five people.

The deceased in the incident included two pilots of the helicopter.

Dadullah Qane, a member of the provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News the crash took place in the Ranj village of Khak-i-Safid district on Friday night.

The helicopter reportedly crashed due to a technical problem.

The helicopter was on its way to Farah from the 207thZafar Military Corps.
