Afghanistan: Police capture two while planting landmine

Kabul, Dec 14 (IBNS): Afghanistan police officials have arrested two people while they were plating a landmine in central Parwan province of the country on Friday, media reports said.

The rebels were detained from Naz Dara area.

The suspected rebels were detained this morning in the Naz Dara area of Bagram district, where the US military has a sprawling base, reported Pajhwok Afghan News.

Brig. Gen. Mahfooz Wali, the Parwan police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News a carjacker had been arrested with a stolen vehicle in Charikar.
