Afghanistan: Taliban attack kills at least 45 security officials in Baghlan
Kabul, Aug 15 (IBNS): At least 45 security members have been killed in an attack by Taliban militants in Afghanistan's Baghlan province, reports said on Wednesday.
The ambush took place on Tuesday night.
The deceased have been identified as 35 army soldiers and 10 local policemen.
The militants attacked the Allahuddin base in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of the province.
Earlier this week, the Taiban militants have killed scores of security members in subsequent large-scale attacks.
