Balochistan registers 22 enforces disappearance cases in March

Pakistan's Balochistan region continues to face the trouble of enforced disappearance with 22 instances recorded in March this year.

During the month of March 2024, TBP documented numerous cases of enforced disappearances reported from various parts of Balochistan and Pakistan. The data gathered, sheds light on the gravity of the situation, disclosing that 22 individuals were subjected to forced disappearances, while 15 forcibly disappeared individuals were released. Furthermore, 3 dead bodies of the ‘missing’ individuals were discovered, reported The Balochistan Post.

Three instances were reported from Mastung, Quetta and Zehri.

The report was released as part of an investigation conducted by The Balochistan Post.

Two enforced disappearance cases were reported Gwadar, Jahoo and Khuzdar.
