Bangladesh: Hindu man hacked to death in Tangail

Tangail, Apr 30 (IBNS) A Hindu man was hacked to death in Bangladesh's Tangail district on Saturday afternoon.

The Daily Star reported that three bike riders along with machetes hacked the victim to death while he was in his tailoring shop.

Aslam Khan, additional superintendent of Tangail was quoted by the daily as saying, "Two of them swooped on Nikhil with machetes and kept on stabbing him, confirming his death."

The deceased identified as Nikhil Joarder, was stabbed in head, neck and other parts of the body, reports said.

A black flag was also left there, which contained two machetes.

Some reports have claimed that Islamist fringe outfit ISIS have claimed the attack.
