Boat capsizes off Istanbul, 24 killed

Istanbul, Nov 3 (IBNS): At least 24 people were killed and several others are missing after a boat, reported to be carrying migrants, sank off the north coast of Istanbul.
 Seven people have been rescued so far from the capsized boat, which was believed to be heading for Bulgaria or Romania.
 
The accident took place where the Bosphorus meets the Black Sea, reports said.
 
Twelve children and seven women were reported to have been on board while the total number of passengers are believed to be 52.
 
Massive scaled rescue operation is now under way with many bodies being pulled from the water.
 
According to reports, the illegal migrants are Afghan nationals.
