Chinese envoy Li calls on Bangladesh Foreign Minister

Dhaka/UNI: Chinese Ambassador Li Jiming called on AKA Momen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, on Friday and discussed repatriation of displaced people from Myanmar among other issues.

Li also presented the fourth volume of 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' to Momen as a gift.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international situations.

Kazi Russel Pervez, Director-General of the East Asia & Pacific Wing, Miah Md. Mainul Kabir, Director-General of the Myanmar Wing, Affairs, and Zeng Wei, Head of Political Section of the Embassy, were present during the call-on amongst others.
