Chinese VP arrives in Pakistan to celebrate I-Day

Islamabad, Aug 13 (IBNS): Vice Premier of the State Council of China Wang Yang arrived in Pakistan on Sunday to be a part of the country's Independence Day celebration.

Pakistan will observe its 70th Independence Day on Monday.

During his two-day visit, the vice premier will attend the flag-hoisting ceremony on August 14 as a special guest and also sign several memoranda of understanding, Geo News reported.

According to reports, VP Yang will call on President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and hold meetings with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif during his visit to Pakistan.
