Damascus, Apr 27 (IBNS): Damascus airport was rocked by a massive explosion near the facility on early Thursday, reports said.
The incident was reported by UK based watch-group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
"The blast was huge and could be heard in Damascus," Rami Abdel Rahman, head of SOHR was quoted as saying in the media.
The cause of the explosion is not clear as of yet.
