Dhaka: Fire breaks out at Bashundhara City shopping complex

Dhaka, Aug 21 (IBNS): A fire broke out at Bashundhara City shopping complex in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Sunday,m media reports said.

20 fire fighting units have rushed to the spot to douse the flame.

According to reports, fire broke out on the sixth level of the mall.

Fire fighters rescued seven people while at least 10 are still remain trapped inside the market where the fire originated around 10:40am, Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defence Brig Gen Ali Ahmed Khan was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.

No casualty has been reported so far.

The cause of the fire is still not known.
