Future Afghanistan govt will not be complete without women: ex-Parliamentarian
Kabul: A former female Afghani Parliamentarian has batted for the presence of women in the future government of the country, giving a strong message to Taliban insurgents who have overrun the nation.
She also strongly protested that no women were present in the recent meetings held in Kabul.

“I think Afghan women need to be more unified than ever. No one will give them their rights easily. They have to be unified, they have to guarantee they have a presence, and it is not acceptable that they are sitting in the corner of their houses and monitoring the situation,”Fawzia Koofi told Tolo News.
Taliban has received criticisms internationally for their negative treatment towards women in the nation and strangling their rights.
On August 15, the Taliban entered Kabul.
President Ashraf Ghani resigned and fled the country to prevent what he described as bloodshed that would occur if militants stormed the city.
Many countries have since started evacuating their citizens and diplomatic personnel from Afghanistan.
Anti-Taliban demonstrations are taking place in different parts of the globe.
