Groups like ISIL will lose: Obama

Washington, Nov 24 (IBNS): Days after Paris was hit by militant attacks which left more than 120 people killed, US President Barack Obama on Tuesday said militant groups like ISIL will be defeated.

"Make no mistake, we will win and groups like ISIL will lose," Obama said after meeting French President Francois Hollande.

Expressing his support for the people of terror-hit Paris, Obama said: "I want to salute the people of Paris for showing the world how to stay strong in the face of terrorism."

"We cannot, and we will not succumb to fear. Nor can we allow fear to divide us. For that’s how terrorists win,” he said.
