Iran’s rumoured 'execution list' with top Israeli leaders includes Netanyahu and Defence Minister Gallant

Iran has reportedly released an 'execution list' naming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and several top military commanders as targets, media reports said.

This list, circulated on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle @Revenge_is_near, also includes the heads of Israel’s Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The poster specifically names Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi, his deputy Amir Baram, and Major Generals Ori Gordin, Yehuda Fox, and Eliezer Toledani.

Military intelligence chief Aharon Haliva is also on the list.

If this list proves authentic, Iran’s targeting of Netanyahu may be in direct response to reports that Israel is planning to escalate its offensive by assassinating Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, following recent Israeli strikes against Hezbollah leaders.

This alleged list mirrors a poster Israel released last month, claiming to have eliminated top Hezbollah commanders.

Israel has also carried out strikes killing several senior leaders of both Hezbollah and Hamas in retaliation for attacks on Israeli civilians.

Tensions between Israel and Iran surged after a large-scale missile offensive from Iran earlier this week, a response to Israeli airstrikes that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas commander Ismail Haniyeh.

Diplomatic efforts to defuse the conflict are ongoing, but the situation remains volatile.

According to an NDTV report, an Israeli embassy spokesperson in India indicated that Tehran would face "severe consequences" if it pursued any full-scale war, while Washington has pledged to support Israel in responding to Iranian aggression.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its military operations, with airstrikes targeting Hezbollah strongholds in southern Beirut, Lebanon.

With both nations locked in escalating conflict, the region faces the growing risk of an all-out war.

The Lebanese government reported that nearly 1,900 people died and 9,000 were injured in the last two weeks due to cross-border fighting, while Palestinian health authorities report over 41,000 casualties, including women and children, from Israeli strikes.
