Israel conducts missile attack targeting Syrian T-4 Airfield, one person killed

Damascus, Jun 3 (Sputnik/UNI) An Israeli missile attack targeting the T-4 airfield in the Syrian province of Homs left one person killed and another two wounded, a Syrian military source told Sputnik on Monday.

"Our air defense repelled the Israeli attack and destroyed two missiles out of those attacking the T-4 airfield," the source said, adding that the strike killed one person and left another two injured.


He added that an ammunition depot was damaged in the attack, and material damage was caused to buildings and equipment.


In turn, Syrian Ikhbariya broadcaster has also reported that a missile attack targeting the T-4 airfield took place in Homs.


Local source has also told Sputnik that powerful explosions rocked the western part of the airfield, and that a fire subsequently broke out there.
