Italy earthquake: Death toll touches 120

Rome, Aug 25 (IBNS): The death toll in the earthquake which rocked Italy on Wednesday has touched 120, media reports said on Thursday.

Country's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was quoted as saying by ANSA: "It will take a long time to handle this emergency."

As per the USGS website, the epicentre of the quake was located  South-East of Norcia at latitude  42.714 degrees north and longitude 13.172 degrees east.

The quake was felt at 1:36 UTC.

The quake hit at a depth of 10km (six miles), USGS website said.
