Magnitude 6.3 quake rocks Alaska in US
Juneau, Alaska/UNI: A 6.3 magnitude quake jolted the Andrean of Islands here in the wee hours of Sunday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.
The temblor shook the region at 0624 IST.
Its depth was 25.1 kilometres.
The USGS has alerted citizens to be ready for more quakes or aftershocks.
No tsunami warning or advisory has been issued.
No loss of life or damage to property has been reported.
