Mount Agung eruption: Bali airport closed, thousands of tourists stranded
Karangasem, Nov 28 (IBNS): With ashes from erupting volcano Mount Agung sweeping Bali for the second day, the Indonesian government kept the island's airport closed on Tuesday, media reports said.
This created problem for the tourists as thousands of them were left stranded on Tuesday.
According to reports, a total of 443 flights, including both domestic and international, were affected.
The authorities also tried to persuade villagers living near the crater to leave their homes.
