Nearly 300 Journalists accredited to cover Putin-Kim summit in Vladivostok

Vladivostok, Apr 25 (Sputnik/UNI) Almost 300 journalists were accredited to cover the summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, which is due to take place at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok later on Thursday, a Sputnik correspondent has learned.

A total of 283 reporters from Russian and foreign media outlets are on the list of accredited media, based on which they are admitted to a special press center set up at the FEFU's building D adjunct to the building S (sports) that will be the main venue for the talks. This figure does not include TV crews and reporters posted in different parts of the campus and near its gates.

The sports building is decorated with the national flags and welcoming banners in Russian and Korean.

A Sputnik correspondent heard an orchestra, an opera singer and a Russian national dance team rehearsing a concert, which will presumably take place at a special scene set up in the building.
