Pakistan: Lahore suicide attack kills over 60
According to local media reports, large number of people were present in the part when the suspected suicide attacker blew himself up in the recreational park.
Rescue operations is currently going on.
The entire area has been cordoned off following the attack.
Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan condemned the attack and tweeted: "Strongly condemn the terror attack in Lahore in which our innocent citizens including women & children lost their lives."
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif to express his deep condolences at the terrorist attack in Lahore city that left more than 50 people killed.
"PM @narendramodi called Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif to express his deep condolences at the terrorist attack in #Lahore," MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
"During the conversation, PM @narendramodi underlined the need for uncompromising efforts to fight against terrorism," he said.
Narendra Modi earlier tweeted and condemned the suicide attack in the Pakistani city.
"Heard about the blast in Lahore. I strongly condemn it. My condolences to families of the deceased & prayers with the injured," PMO India tweeted quoting Modi.
