Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif leaves for London

Islamabad, Apr 13 (IBNS) Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday left for London, media reports said.

According to reports, he left for the European nation from  Lahore Airport in a private jet. 

Local media reports said he went to London for a 'medical treatment'.

"Prior to his departure, the Prime Minister held a meeting which was attended by senior ministers including Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar," Geo News reported.

Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif ‏tweeted: "My father reverently kisses my grandma's hand as she surrounds him with prayers for his health before seeing him off."
