Pakistan: Terrorists attack Karachi Stock Exchange building, multiple casualties reported

Karachi/IBNS: In an yet another terrorist attack in the South Asian country, four gunmen attacked the Stock Exchange building in Pakistan's Karachi leaving several dead on Monday, media reports said.

The terrorists, who had attempted to storm into the Stock Exchange compound, were killed by the security forces.

According to a police statement, as Dawn News reported, one sub inspector and four security guards were martyred.

Earlier it was reported that two civilians were also killed. 

Three police officials were injured.

The injured were reportedly taken to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.

Police said that advanced weaponry, hand grades and explosive materials have been recovered from the terrorists' custody.

However, trading didn't stop for a minute due to the attack, PSX board chairman S Mehdi said.
