Pakistan: Three arrested in Haripur for ‘maligning’ army, its officers

Haripur, Pakistan: The cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency recently arrested three persons on the charges of maligning army and its senior officers through their social media accounts, media reports said on Friday.

According to the FIA Abbottabad circle, the three accused had been using maligning remarks against the military and its leadership for the last six months, reports Dawn News.

The accused later identified as Naveed Shah, Waqas Khan and Mohammad Nawaz were arrested after registering cases against them under the PECA Act.
