Kabul, July 24 (Xinhua/UNI) A roadside bomb struck foreign forces vehicles in Tangi Tarakhil area in the outskirts of Kabul on Wednesday, injuring three civilians, Kabul police spokesman Ferdous Faramarz said.

According to the official, the blast occurred at 8:30 a.m. local time. However, the official avoided making comment on the possible casualties of foreign forces.

Meantime, another official, on the condition of anonymity, described the blast as a car bomb, but said no foreigners had been hurt.

However, Zabihullah Majahid who claims to speak for the Taliban outfit in contact with media, claimed that the militants' attack targeted foreign forces, destroying two vehicles and inflicting casualties on foreign forces.

The NATO-led Resolute Support mission forces stationed in Afghanistan has yet to make comment.
