Dhaka, July 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday will pay tribute to the victims of the militant attack at a cafe in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Friday.

Hasina will pay homage to the victims at Army Stadium in Banani .

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would pay tributes to the victims of Gulshan attack by placing wreaths on their coffins at the Army Stadium at 10:00am," Prothom Alo quoted a press release issued by the Awami League.

The issued release was signed by Abdus Sobhan Golap, office secretary of the party.

The Bangladeshi Army on Saturday said that 20 people were killed by heavily armed terrorists after being taken hostage at a restaurant in the capital city Dhaka on Friday evening.

The people were kept hostage for nearly 10 hours in Dhaka's upscale restaurant Gulshan. The stand-off between Army and terrorists came to a end on Saturday morning.

The operation left six terrorists killed as well.

An Indian girl, who was taken hostage in the restaurant, also died in the terror attack in Dhaka, Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj confirmed.
