Syria: UN suspends aid after convoy attacked
The move was made after its lorries were attacked by warplanes near Aleppo on Monday.
The convoy had received proper permits, and all warring parties - including Russia and the US - had been notified, a UN spokesman was quoted as saying by the BBC.
According to media reports, 18 lorries , out of the 31, were destroyed in the incident.
They were reportedly carrying wheat, winter clothes and medical supplies.
