Taliban will be judged by their deeds: Boris Johnson
London: UK PM Boris Johnson has said the Taliban insurgents will be judged by their deeds.
"We will continue to use every humanitarian and diplomatic lever to safeguard human rights and the gains made in Afghanistan over the last two decades," Johnson tweeted.
"The Taliban will be judged by their deeds and not their words," he said.
Johnson made the remark just ahead of chairing an emergency G7 virtual meet to coordinate international response to the Afghan crisis.
We will continue to use every humanitarian and diplomatic lever to safeguard human rights and the gains made in Afghanistan over the last two decades.

The Taliban will be judged by their deeds and not their words.
On August 15, the Taliban entered Kabul.
President Ashraf Ghani resigned and fled the country to prevent what he described as bloodshed that would occur if militants stormed the city.
Many countries have since started evacuating their citizens and diplomatic personnel from Afghanistan.
Anti-Taliban demonstrations are taking place in different parts of the globe.
