Top Al-Qaeda leader dies in US drone strike
Washington/Kabul, Nov 5 (IBNS): The United States has confirmed the death of a top Al-Qaeda leader in a drone strike it carried out in Afghanistan last month, reports said.
The deceased has been identified as Farouq al-Qahtani, a senior leader of the terror group.
The Pentagon described him as a 'senior plotter of attacks against the United States'.
He was placed on a US list of most wanted terrorists.
