Milton, Oct. 27 (IBNS): A crash in the westbound lanes of a highway in Milton in southern Ontario, Canada, resulted in the death of a man on Wednesday, police reports said.

The crash between two tractor-trailers occurred in the westbound lanes of the Highway 401 near Trafalgar Road on Tuesday just before midnight.

The construction work and the traffic backup resulted in the slowing down of a line of trucks, when, one of the trucks banged into the rear of the truck in front of it.

The driver of the rear truck was pronounced dead at the scene while the other driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The westbound lanes, which were closed at Trafalgar for about seven hours, reopened on Wednesday after 7:30 a.m.
