Turkey: 14 killed, 220 injured in attacks on police, military

Ankara, Aug 18 (IBNS): At least 14 people were killed and more than 220 were injured in the string of bombings in Turkey's Elazig city, media reports said.
Two of the attacks were car bombings near police stations in eastern Turkey.
 
The third one targetted a military vehicle carrying soldiers in the southeast of the country.
 
According to reports, the attacks were carried out by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
 
The PKK is a designated terrorist outfit by Turkey, the European Union and the United States of America.
