ACC wins bid for Kannur Limestone Block in Karnataka
Mumbai: ACC Ltd has won the bid for Kannur Limestone Block in the Wadi area of Karnataka's Kalburgi district in an e-auction conducted by Karnataka government's Department of Mines & Geology.
"Through this mining block, the company has secured estimated limestone resources in excess of 250 million tonnes," the company said in a statement.
This limestone block is in close proximity to the ACC's existing Wadi cement plant, it added.
