GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd records 7% growth for Q3

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IBNS) GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited on Monday declared its financial results for the third quarter ended Dec 31.

The company said its gross sales stood at Rs 1100 crores and recorded a growth of 7 % with PAT at Rs. 132 crores growing by 37 % for the same period and PBT at Rs 203 crores growing by 37 %.

Commenting on the results,  Manoj Kumar, Managing Director, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited said, “We are happy to declare our results for the third quarter where we have been able to gain share in the HFD category. We have been able to successfully connect and engage with our consumers via sharp insight based communication to grow consumption of Horlicks. Our core differentiator remains our science and we will strengthen our focus to constantly innovate. Today our products continue to be available at affordable price points, reaching a larger consumer base across the country in both rural and urban markets.”
