India lifts export ban on tur, urad and moong dal after a decade
New Delhi, Sep 16 (IBNS): The Central government lifted the the ban on export of tur, urad and moong dal, which was imposed a decade back, according to media
The government has lifted the ban to help farmers get remunerative prices following the expected harvest of bumper crop, media reported.
While farmers are currently harvesting moong and urad, a big crop of tur dal is all set for harvesting in December.
According to reports, the prices of moong and urad have failed to reach MSP level.
