Indian benchmark indices end flat on Wednesday

Mumbai, Sep 13 (IBNS): The Indian market closed flat on Wednesday with BSE Sensex up 27.75 points at 32186.41 and NSE Nifty down 13.75 points at 10079.30.

Even though the benchmark indices picked up during the early hours of the trade, they could not hold on to the gains, media reported.

Top gainers included Sun Pharma, Reliance, Idea Cellular, Tata Power, Dr Reddy's Labs, Lupin and Tata Motors while ITC,BPCL, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco, HDFC, Cipla and Wipro declined.
