Indian Market: Sensex falls 53.73 pts
Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slipped by 53.73 points to settle at 40,248.23 on profit booking by local operators at higher level.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped by 24.10 points to 11,917.20.
The Sensex registered day's high and low at 40,466.55 and 40,053.55 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 11,978.95 and 11,861.90 points respectively.
