Indian Market: Sensex surges 503.55 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied by 503.55 pts at 40,261.13 on renewed buying in Bankex, Finance, Metal and Auto stocks.

The Nifty of national stock exchange too rose by 144.35 pts at 11,813.50.

The sensex registered days high and low at 40,354.73 and 39,952.79 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 11,836.20 and 11,723.30 pts respectively.
