Indian markets gain on Friday but end flat for the week
Mumbai, Jun 17 (IBNS): Profit booking by investors late in the day on Friday pared the impressive intraday gains recorded by the Indian benchmark indices, with Sensex up 100.45 points to 26625.91 and Nifty gained 29.45 points to 8170.20.
Experts believe Britain's decision to join or stay out of the European Union is likely to keep the markets choppy, according to media reports.
For the week, Sensex and Nifty ended flat.
