India's consumer inflation touches 15- month high figure

Mumbai, Dec 12 (IBNS): Retail or consumer inflation of India increased to a 15-month high figure of  4.88 percent in November, government data released on Tuesday said.

It stood at  3.58 per cent in October.

The figure stood at 3.63 in November 2016.

Meanwhile, India's Industrial Production moved up by 2.2 per cent in October, official data released on Monday said.

"The General Index for the month of October 2017 stands at 123.0, which is 2.2 percent higher as compared to the level in the month of October 2016," read a government statement.

The cumulative growth for the period April-October 2017 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at 2.5 percent.
