New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) Private airline IndiGo on Friday refuted media reports which has stated that the airline is cancelling 130 flights on February 15 and said it is operating 120 of these flights as scheduled.

The airline in a statement that they have verified the data and confirmed that it was operating 120 of these 130 flights, as scheduled, with more than 20,000 travelling passengers.

“The origin of this alleged cancellation list is unknown to IndiGo and is false and misleading,” it added

IndiGo maintained its position regarding scheduled cancellations of 30 flights a day until March 31, 2019. These cancellations do not include NOTAMs which are issued by various airports due to operational reasons.

Earlier in the day, a section of media has reported that the Gurugram-based airline has cancelled around 130 frights on Friday as shortage of pilots along with NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) at some airports continue.
