Industrial production drops 1.9 percent in October
New Delhi, Dec 9 (IBNS): India's industrial production dropped 1.9 percent in October, government data released on Friday revealed.
The General Index for the month of October 2016 stands at 178.0, which is 1.9 percent lower as compared to the level in the month of October 2015, read a government statement.
"The cumulative growth for the period April-October 2016 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at (-) 0.3 percent," it said.
