Mumbai/IBNS: Swiggy Ltd. has announced a leadership reshuffle in its quick commerce business, with Instamart CEO Amitesh Kumar Jha stepping down from his role, according to media reports.

The company said Jha is leaving to explore opportunities outside the organisation.

Nandita Sinha to take charge from August 3

Swiggy has appointed Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha as the new Chief Executive Officer of Instamart.

She will assume the role on August 3, 2026, succeeding Jha.

The appointment marks the latest in a series of leadership changes at Swiggy since the company's public listing.

Amitesh Kumar Jha exits

In a statement, Swiggy said Amitesh Kumar Jha has decided to step down to pursue opportunities beyond the company.

Jha led Instamart during a crucial phase as competition in India's quick commerce sector intensified.

Who is Nandita Sinha?

Before becoming CEO of Myntra, Nandita Sinha held several leadership positions at the fashion e-commerce company, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), where she oversaw customer growth, revenue, marketing and overall business operations.

Prior to joining Myntra, she spent more than a decade at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), holding leadership roles across sales, marketing and brand management for several consumer brands.

Sinha is widely regarded as one of India's leading e-commerce executives, with extensive experience in digital retail, consumer strategy and business growth.
