Mumbai, Aug 31 (IBNS) :The Indian market closed in the red on Monday with the Sensex dropping by 109.29 points.

Sensex dropped by 109.29 points to end the day at 26283.09 points.

The Nifty closed the day at 7971.30, down by 30.65 points.
