Sensex closes 217 points higher

Mumbai, Dec 21 (IBNS): The Indian market closed in the green with the Sensex ending the day's business by more than 217 points.

Sensex closed 216.68 points higher at 25735.90 points.

The Nifty on the other end ended at 7834.45 points, up by 72.50 points.
