Sensex marginally declines 27.09 points

BSE Sensex on Wednesday marginally fell 27.09 points to settle at 73,876.82 as selling was seen in Realty, Auto, and BSE Services stocks.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too eased 18.65 pts at 22,434.65.

The NSE registered days high and low at 22,521.10 and 22,346.50 pts, respectively.

A see-saw trend was seen during the day, as the Sensex opened negative at 73757.24 and fell 146 points. During the day, it dropped 363 points to 73540.27, days low. In late trade, it was recovered but ended negative only at 73876.83, sliding

27.09 points as compared to its last close.

Meanwhile, it was registered days high at 74151.21, up 248 points.

The stocks include Realty, Auto, and BSE services, and Auto remained in red as Realty fell by 2.45 pc, Auto by 0.37 pc, Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services by 0.13 pc, and BSE services by 0.11 pc.

The mid cap rose by 0.61 pc, while the small cap rose by 1.18 pc.

In 30 scrips, 14 advanced, while 16 declined.

The losers were Nestle India Ltd by 2.62 pc to Rs 2553.85, Kotak Bank by 1.40 pc to Rs 1732.05, JSW Steel by 1.35 pc to Rs 867 and Titan by 1.16 pc to Rs 3713.

The gainers were NTPC by 1.97 pc to Rs 351.60, Tech Mahindra by 1.75 pc to Rs 1258.25, TCS by 1.67 pc to Rs 3947.25 and Bharti Airtel by 1.41 pc to Rs 1225.40.
