SpiceJet Standalone Q1 net stands at Rs 261.70 crores

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) Low cost Airline SpiceJet has reported a standalone net profit of Rs 261.70 crores for the June quarter of FY20 , against a net loss of Rs 37.9 crores in the same quarter a year ago.

This was the airline's biggest ever quarterly profit, as it flew more passengers and raised fares in the wake of the collapse of Jet Airways.

Total income for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 grew by 39.59 percent to Rs 3,145.3 crores as compared with Rs 2,253.3 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
