Tata Steel wins at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards

Kolkata, May 16 (IBNS): Tata Steel has been awarded with the 'Top Indian Company in the Iron and Steel Sector' in the 15th edition of 'Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2015' held in Mumbai.

The 15th edition of Dun & Bradstreet India’s premium publication, ‘India’s Top 500 Companies 2015’ was launched by Chief Guest, Yashwant Sinha, country’s former Finance Minister, along with Guest of Honour, Bibek Debroy, Permanent Member NITI Aayog and Bob Carrigan, President, CEO & Director (Global), Dun & Bradstreet. In addition, the eminent dignitaries also included representatives from companies featured in the Top 500 Companies list.

The Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Award 2015, aimed to recognise and felicitate corporate India’s leading companies from various sectors, was presented at a grand ceremony on May 13 in Mumbai.

The award ceremony was also attended by the captains of the industry and opinion leaders from the Government of India.

Kanchinadham Parvatheesam, Company Secretary Tata Steel received this prestigious award on Tata Steel's behalf. On receiving the award, Mr. Parvatheesam, said, “We are delighted to have won the Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2015 and are very proud to be recognized as the Top Indian Company in the Iron and Steel category. This recognition is testimony to the out-of-box thinking and follow-through to execution by a highly committed team to whom the award is dedicated.
