7.9 earthquake hits Papua New Guinea
Port Moresby, Dec 17 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 7. 9 on the Richter Scale hit east of Taron, Papua New Guinea on Saturday, as per the USGS webiste.
The epicentre of the quake was located at 4.474 degrees south latitude and 153.577 degrees east longitude, read the website.
No casulty has been reported so far.
