Acharya Balkrishna, Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurved, has once again been recognised among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to a prestigious list published by Stanford University in collaboration with leading academic publisher Elsevier.

This recognition is seen as a matter of pride not only for Acharya Balkrishna but also for Patanjali, Ayurveda, and India, showcasing the successful blend of ancient Indian wisdom and modern scientific research.

Over the years, Acharya Balkrishna has made significant contributions to the field of Ayurveda and natural medicine.

His work includes:

  • 300+ research articles published in international journals.
  • Over 100 evidence-based Ayurvedic medicines developed under his guidance.
  • Authorship of more than 120 books on Yoga and Ayurveda.
  • Cataloguing of natural herbs through the Herbal Encyclopaedia, now considered a valuable resource for future research.
  • Contributions to over 25 ancient Ayurvedic manuscripts and the establishment of the Herbal World in Malagon, Uttarakhand.

Praising his achievement, yoga guru Ramdev said that Acharya Balkrishna has established Ayurveda with scientific validation, opening new global research avenues in natural medicine.

He further described the recognition as a historic step in showcasing India’s research strength and the untapped potential of natural herbs.

Acharya Balkrishna’s consistent presence on Stanford’s global list highlights his role as a bridge between traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and contemporary science, inspiring researchers worldwide to explore holistic and natural approaches to healthcare, he said.
