Child dies of swine flu in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 22 (IBNS): A 2-year-old child died of swine flu in Kolkata's Dr B C Roy Child Hospital on Sunday.

Tarannum  passed away at 7:45 am.

The child was admitted to Dr B C Roy Child Hospital with high fever on Feb 2.

Tarannum was diagnosed to be suffering with swine flu later.

Another 8 -year- old child named Abu Rahan from Hatiara, north 24 parganas district ,died of swine flu earlier on Feb 19 at Dr B C Roy Child Hospital.

According to hospital reports, 6 more H1N1 positive children have been admitted in the same hospital.

The number of deaths from swine flu in West Bengal have reached 4 while the number of H1N1 infected patients are currently 63.
